With the holidays just around the corner I wanted to take the time to suggest an ideas on how to give back, or donate this season. It seems to me that more than ever people are in need of help, support, or just something to make them smile. There is an Organization called Glamourgals That has been working hard for over 20 years to reduce senior isolation by fostering friendships across the country. They offer teens an opportunity to gain essential leadership skills by demonstrating empathy and compassion through their intergenerational programming that pairs teens with seniors. That in turn gives elderly residents in care feeling a renewed sense of community and self-worth. This beautiful organization is asking for help with their My Dear Friend Campaign that will give thousands of seniors letters, cards, or home made arts and craft notes this holiday season. Massage Envy will be supporting this organization by making a donation of $1 for every letter written and submitted by 12/31/22 up to a total donation of $15,000 to Glamourgals. You can help make a difference in someones life this season and who knows maybe make a friend along the way.
