All the boxes get checked off and the day is productive and smooth. But then there are those days, or weeks that you just feel like you're putting out fire after fire. The "to do list" just gets longer and you're rushing to get home from work, do a 5 minute dinner, rush to a school meeting or event, only to come home and crash. The next day then realizing there where things that had to be done yesterday that you now missed. Yup, That's the norm for us all, It's not just you. The most important thing to schedule for the day is "Me Time". A time of day chosen just for you to relax, unwind, slow down your mind and body. This time is essential for your physical and mental health. Even if you have just 20 minutes with coffee or tea, calming music, a candle or soft lighting, a book, or the beautiful sounds of nature. Taking this time each day will make a big difference. Your mind will be calmer and think clearer. Your body will feel less stressed and have less strain on your heart. Stress can do so much damage and life is too short. Take the time to sit back and remember your blessings. You have so many to be thankful for.
